Benjamin Button is a fictional character who physically ages backwards, including things such as mental capacity, and physical wellbeing. For the purposes of this debate, he is born at the age of 100, and dies when he is 0. However, Benjamin Button is still susceptible to death from other factors external to natural causes. Everyone in this world ages normally.

Satirical political parties satirise established political parties through comedic programs full of absurd policies that parody the current political debate. When engaged in campaigns, their members often adopt a comedic persona. These parties engage in political discussions and elections as other parties. Examples of such parties are "The Official Monster Raving Loony Party in the UK"; "Party for Labour, Rule of Law, Animal Protection, Promotion of Elites and Grassroots Democratic Initiative" in Germany; or "The Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party". These parties have had some level of historic success.

In Star Wars, certain individuals are born with the power to access the "Force", an energy field that binds the universe together. A Force-sensitive individual can levitate objects, trick minds, and sometimes predict the short-term future. The Jedi believe that the best way to control the Force is by suppressing your emotions, and so follow a philosophy of detachment from the living world (including rejecting attachments such as romantic relationships). The Sith believe in encouraging strong emotion and using it to fuel the Force. Both seek peace in the galaxy.
